Another team from EURUS, is now ready for Blade Service in Japan!

Been participating 14 busy days on GBS L-1 blade inspection L-2 Basic blade repair and LPS.

The outcome cover approval of theoretical test for the gained knowledge and practical exercises on different skills:

  • Repair of surface damage, filler and topcoat
  • General hand lamination for quality testing
  • Vertical repair of shell laminate, hand lamination
  • Sandwich panel with vacuum consolidation

  • Blade shell sandwich laminate for building TE including bonding.

  • Vertical LE repair including vacuum consolidation

  • Repair of inner laminate of sandwich using vacuum consolidation for bonding new core and outer laminate using vacuum consolidation.

  • Sanding, shaping and filling of blade tip LE, then finish with topcoat or LEP application.

  • Grinding exercise to validate participants grinding skills on more layers chamfered down to balsa core All exercises following different OEMs repair methods and documented like working on site..
